Lisa Goodwin

Director

​Lisa Goodwin the Director of The Preschool Childcare Center, graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Art.  Lisa has previous teaching experience as a pre-school and after-school teacher with the La Crosse Day Care system and was also a substitute Elementary School teacher.

Lisa has lived in the La Crosse area her whole life and is happily married to her husband Dave.  Over their 28+ years of marriage, they have raised 5 children, (Zach, Max, twin girls Kali and Nikki, and Ben) of whom they are very proud of.

Along with the experience of being a mom to 5 great kids, Lisa feels that with her teaching background, she is ready for anything!  She looks forward to working along with the parents to create a fun and exciting learning experience for all children attending The Preschool Childcare Center.

In order to properly encourage your child's personal and academic development, our professional educators follow a unique teaching approach that combines academic excellence with a free-spirited and playful atmosphere for learning.

Our educators are experienced, certified and continually trained on the  most up to date practices and resources for child development.   Our staff has chosen the child care profession to bring the fun of learning to all children in our care, and it is our intention to provide an environment that will meet the needs of each child physically, emotionally and intellectually.  

​Our teachers are qualified and trained to meet these needs and believe every child deserves to be loved, respected and accepted by all of the people in their lives. Our teachers regularly receive continuing education and always bring new ideas and input to their daily tasks. These ideas are passed on to your child in playful exercises and diligent study sessions.
